Legendary blues singer B.B. King hospitalized

The 89-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee was admitted for an undisclosed ailment

Famed blues singer B.B. King has been hospitalized in Las Vegas, a representative at B.B. King Road Shows told TheWrap Monday.

The 89-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee was diagnosed with Type II diabetes more than two decades ago, according to the Los Angeles Times.

King's countless hits include "Three O'Clock Blues," "The Thrill Is Gone" and "When Love Comes to Town," a collaboration with U2.

Last October, King was forced to cancel eight gigs after falling ill from dehydration and exhaustion at a Chicago show.

Born in Mississippi as Riley B. King, the singer has released over 50 albums since the 1940s.

I see BB is out of the hospital and at home recovering. He's exhausted and dehydrated, a tough combination for someone his age. Take it easy BB, you ain't twenty no more. Love you Buddy!
